PART-TIME Opportunity in Marietta, GA

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will transport patients to scheduled non-emergency appointments. Competitive pay: $18 - $20/hr.

Role Description:

This is a part-time on-site role as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Our EMTs provide stretcher transport service while ensuring the well-being of patients during pickup, transport and drop off. 

Responsibilities:

• Be honest, transparent, dedicated, and trustworthy.

• Patient- first attitude.

• Committed to excellence in safe stretcher transport.

• Ability to team lift unloaded and loaded stretcher several times daily.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner at all times.

• Assessment of patients, determine necessary care and provide services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.

• Perform basic life support, as needed.

• Utilize medical terminology accurately to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.

• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.

• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.

• Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.

• Hours may vary due to operational needs

• Drive throughout shifts on all types of roads

• Work in all types of weather

• Exposure to noise, vibrations, smells and fumes 

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Emergency Medical Services (EMS) knowledge

• Valid U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification

• Valid BLS certification

• EMT-Basic certification required

• EMT-Responders are encouraged to apply

• New EMT graduates at all levels are encouraged to apply.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Experience in non-emergency medical transportation is a plus

• Healthcare work experience preferred, not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Valid State Driver’s License

• Driving record in compliance with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test
